Dorothy Hauser Braun Furtado, citizen of the world, was called by God, Tuesday, November 28, 2000 to come up and play the Big Pipe Organ in Heaven. She was a 1942 graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. As late as April 2000, Dorothy traveled the world with her second husband, Louis A. Furtado. She was preceded in death by 1st husband, Alois Al Braun; parents, William Hauser and Verna Seefeldt; only sibling, William Sonny Hauser and step-daughter, Julie Ann Furtado. In addition to Louis, she is survived by stepfather, Roy Seefeldt; 6 children, Bo Braun Ogden & husband, Tony, Buddy Braun & wife, Deborah Kay, Cyndi Braun Regnier & husband, Ted, Linda Braun Lackey & husband, Mike, Larry Braun & wife, Susie, Jenny Braun Korba & husband, Bret; 4 stepchildren, Mike Furtado & wife, Ev, Joan Furtado Javellana, Jane Furtado & Jean Furtado Hauser & husband, Tony; 10 grandchildren; 7 stepgrandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 step-great grandson; nephews and nieces.
