Dorothy Mae Henderson

Our Heavenly Father called home one of His most precious children on Friday, 2 November 2018, Dorothy Mae Henderson after faithfully serving Him on this earth for 82 years.  She was born to W. Alfred and Nola Clark, December 18, 1935, in Batesville, AR.

Dorothy is celebrating life in Heaven with her husband, Joseph Edwin Henderson; her sons Jody and Greg Henderson; and her grandson Jonathan Henderson.  She left behind her children: Ronnie Henderson (Susie), Dean Henderson (Mary), Sandra Peters (Jeffery), Dianna Trommer (James); 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; numerous family members and friends.

Dorothy, “lived every day with a purpose”.  Her extensive and lifelong ministry as a devoted mother raising her six children, dedicated wife to her military husband of 30 years, Sunday school teacher, church volunteer willingly serving others, always put a smile in her heart that reflected the contagious smile on her face that made you feel accepted and loved.  She never met a stranger and always looked for opportunities to encourage and share the love of Christ with others.  Her infectious laugh and beautiful smile is waiting for us in Heaven and in the memories of those she left behind.  

We love you and miss you dearly and can’t wait to see that smile that lights up your eyes and face and hear that laugh that made us all feel comfortable and safe.
