Dorothy Jane Hewitt

She is preceded in death by her parents Gus and Syville Dicke; and her siblings Bill Dicke, Norman Dicke, Bryce Dicke, and Martha Dicke.

Dorothy was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had an insatiable ability to make people laugh and light up a room with her personality and baby blue eyes. She took the utmost pride in her life's work, being a military officer's wife and her favorite football team the Ohio State Buckeyes. She had a great love of her home state of Ohio, animals and reading novels.

She is survived by her loving husband Horace G. Hewitt of over sixty years; son David and wife Marianne Hewitt, of Lake Forest, Illinois; son John Hewitt, of San Antonio, Texas; son Thomas and wife Patricia Hewitt, of St. Louis, Missouri, and daughter Roberta and husband Stephen Norris, of New Braunfels, Texas; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
