Jack, Family, Friends

I want to express my deepest sympathy for Dorothy's passing. She was always a pleasure to be around, and I am grateful to have spent time with both of you over the years. Thank you for being a fantastic addition to the Klein family for so long.

Jack Hill and I were in the 1965 graduating class at Miley High school in Houston and were roommates at UT in Austin during our sophomore through senior years.  We also worked together for meals and meager spending money, and I can say without reservation that Jack was the best roommate anyone could have had. After college I moved to the west coast where I have lived for virtually my entire adult life, but Jack and I have kept in touch and remained friends all this time. I can’t say that I knew Dorothy well, but I knew what was important - that she was a loving partneer to Jack and that she made him happy. On the few occasions where we met when I was visiting Texas she was always sweet, kind, and gracious to  me and I could tell that she adored Jack. What’s not to adore? I wish Jack and the family peace as they mourn Dorothy and may their memories of her bring smiles and comfort now and in the years to come.

I'm so glad to have known Dorothy!  She said she didn't like to exercise, but knew it was good for her.   
Wow!  And now it's real.  She is in loving arms and her body is whole.  I'm sorry for your loss.  Come to class when you can Jack.  Let me know how I can help.

Thank you Aunt Dot for all your kindness to us. We are, also, grateful to you for filling your nephew's childhood with wonderful memories.  We had fun visits together & are missing you but happy to know that we will get to see each other again. We give condolences to your great husband, Jack.

I credit Dorothy for changing my life forever when she introduced me to country dancing back in the 80s. The dance community is still an active part of my life thanks to her. She has always been my confidant and friend through all these years, no matter where we  lived,  no matter how many months between visits, no matter what changes in our lives took place, she was still my   Bestie!!!  RIP dear friend.  You will be greatly missed by me and many many more.
