Dorothy Howard was born in Tomah, WI on January 3, 1922 and passed away on February 10, 2013 in San Antonio, TX. She grew up on a farm during the Depression without electricity or running water. Dorothy was a buyer for the bookstore at SAC for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Howard and her daughter, Margaret Calder. Surviving are her sons, John Howard, Robert Howard and his wife, Karen; granddaughter, Cassandra Tremblett and her husband, Chad; and her sister-in-law, Helen Howard. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel; with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3303 Urban Crest, 78209. Interment will be at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
