Dorothy Schiller Joseph

Dorothy was born in San Antonio on November 30, 1926, the daughter of Earl and Irene Schiller of San Antonio, Texas. She attended Brackenridge High School and worked many years for the San Antonio Drug Company, where she met her future husband, Arthur X. Joseph. Dorothy and Arthur were married on January 19, 1952, and shared 62 wonderful years together, as they raised their four children.

Dorothy spent many years as an active member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She was a longtime member of the Altar Society as well as a volunteer with the Elks and VA Hospital. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, painting, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur X. Joseph; sons, Michael G. Joseph of San Antonio, Steven C. Joseph of Houston; daughters, Jeanie M. Joseph and Grace E. Joseph, both of San Antonio; daughter-in-law, Delia Perez Joseph; and grandchildren, Richard M. Joseph and Kathryn A. Joseph.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Porter Loring on McCullough.
