Dorothy Lee Martin

Dorothy was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 13, 1931, to Robert and Lucile May. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed. Dorothy graduated two years early from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1948. Dorothy was a dedicated professional in her work-life and devoted to her extended family and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil O. Martin, Jr., son, Robert D. Waldron, Jr., and grandson, Stephen Nelson.

She is survived by her daughters: Deborah Waldron, Deanna (Hector) Ochoa, Denise (Marvin) Howard, and Dawn (Michael) Nelson, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Friday, May 7, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetary (Shelter #3).
