Dorothy Alice Young, age 72, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 27, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas to Edgar and Frances Menn. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Arthur Menn. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 47 years, William “Roger” Young; son, Timothy Young and his wife Katrina; grandchildren, Nicholas Young and Chloe Young; brothers E.J. Menn, Charles Menn and his wife Kathy; nephew, Chris Menn and niece Tina Menn; special family friend Lori Hoff. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery # 2. The family wishes to thank Dr. Steven Kalter, and all the office staff, Dr. Luna (kidney Doctor) and also her home care nurse, Louie Garena for all their loving care giving to Dorothy.
