Doyle Glenn Mr. Poe

Doyle was born March 11, 1948 in Newport, TN. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, James Westley Poe and Dora Lee Poe Farley; brother, Johnny Michael Poe, and infant sister, Wanda Poe, all of Tennessee.

Doyle is survived by his wife, Annette Poe of San Antonio, Tx; daughter, Brooke Poe Banker (Gary) of Boynton Beach, Fl; stepson, Garyl Graham II (Brenda), of San Antonio, Tx; brother, Jim Poe (Millie) of Phoenix, Az; sisters, Helen Crumb (Tom), and Carole Henson ( Gene-deceased) of Clarksville, Tn; brother-in-law Humberto Vernon (Savannah, GA); sister-in-law, Yvette Staton (Killeen, TX) and brother-in-law, Alexander Vernon III (FL).

Several beloved grandchildren including Darren Graham, Alicia Graham, Alexander Pena, Alyssa Pena, Anahi Pena, Markus Perez and Kailey Hayes. As well as extended grandchildren, Brianna Rosas, Leo Gamez, Ellyse Sanchez, Aleena Munoz, Ellana Brown, Daniel Zuniga, Vanessa Torres and Angel Mora all of San Antonio, Tx.

Several nieces and nephews, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Doyle Poe was retired from the US Army of 22 years and served three tours in Vietnam, as a volunteer each time. Awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Heroism in October 1970. He then also retired from the US Postal Service in San Antonio, Tx.
