Dwayne graduated from Broken Bow High School and the University of Nebraska. He married Betty Ann Craig in Broken Bow, June 11, 1966. They had one son, Brook.
Mr. Adams served in the US Air Force, attaining the rank of Captain in the Vietnam conflict as a pilot of O2-A's and KC-135's. Upon his discharge, he joined his father and brothers in Broken Bow operating Adams Land and Cattle, Inc.
In 1986 Dwayne and his family moved to San Antonio, TX and established RioSA Lawncare.
He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Leslie. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann; his son Brook and wife Silvia; and infant granddaughter, Nicole of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Other survivors include his mother Angenette Adams-Denesia; brothers Jerry Linda, Bill Connie all of Broken Bow, Lawrence Marilyn of Lincoln, NE; sister Cheryl John Jarchow of Greeley, CO; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
