Earl Eugene Hodgson, Jr.

Earl E. Hodgson, Jr., age 91, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 13, 1930, to parents, Dewey and Earl Hodgson, Sr. in Tulsa Oklahoma. Earl served in the United States Air Force for 32 years and retired as a Colonel Chief Judge of the Air Force Court of Military Review. He majored in law and graduated from Washburn in 1958. Earl was proud to serve as a member of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) branch of the Air Force. During his Air Force career, he received several awards including the Albert M. Kuhfeld Award, AF Commendation Medal, Bronze Star Medal, and Mentorious Service Medal. Earl was married to his loving wife, Marilyn Elaine Hodgson for 67 years. She passed away just two weeks after Earl.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Farmer, and Earl Eugene Hogson, Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Trevino; grandchildren, Nicole Thompson of Frackville, Pennsylvania, Samantha Trevino of San Antonio, Texas, Nathaniel Trevino of Moore, Texas; and great-granddaughter Gabrielle Rodiles of Frackville, Pennsylvania.
