Eduardo Rodriguez

Reverend Eduardo Rodriguez went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2013. He was a devoted and faithful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and servant of God. He was born August 10, 1935 in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Delfina Rodriguez; his son Gamaliel Rodriguez and wife Ann Marie Rodriguez; his daughter Halya Burns; his son Asael Rodriguez; his grandchildren: Nicole, Hannah, Kristin, Nathan, and Seth, and his great grandchildren: Michael, Alyssa, and Jacob.

Eduardo will be remembered for his adventurous spirit as a world traveler, nature enthusiast, and thrill seeker. He traveled to a multitude of countries ranging from the Middle East to the Arctic Circle, and visited the majority of the United States including most of the National Parks. At 65 years old, Eduardo along with his wife and son, made a trek from Texas to Alaska on motorcycle. For his 70th birthday, he went skydiving with his grandson, and made it his life's mission to live with enthusiasm every single day. He had a profound desire for knowledge and would spend his spare time reading, studying, and learning everything from theology to physics to horticulture. Most importantly, he dedicated his whole life to his family. His continual hard work created a wonderful life and home for his wife and children that has extended to and beyond his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends and family will vividly and forever remember his beautiful spirit.

The burial services will commence immediately afterward at Mission Park North, 20900 IH 10 West San Antonio, Texas 78257. There will be a continuation of his life's celebration at the family's home after the burial.
