I think about you very moment of the day I miss you so so much... it will be 2 months in a few days since I last saw you beautiful eyes or felt your touch.. things seem to get harder for me as the days go by, there’s so much that I need to tell you and I do tell you but I don’t hear you tell me “ we will be ok” or “we will figure it out” but in my heart I know you are telling me what I have been wanting to hear.. Edward, I love you and  will miss our long phone conversation on life. We would be laughing then arguing about politics then laughing again. I would always tell you how lucky you were to have Vickie, she would take care of you so well. You guys had that beautiful love.  Memories, I have so many, but this one time we went to a dirt track in the woods by my house for our gocarts. Well I found a ramp I went off of it and landed it. Then you went with your dad and didn't land it lol you got up and had dirt all over your face. We had so much fun. I love you cousin. Say hi to all our loved ones for me.

Edward!! You are indeed the definition of a Beautiful Soul! Truly a Wonderful person inside and out ! Always there when anyone needed you , without  expecting a thing in return. You have and  will always be the best big cousin! I have so many memories from when I was little to when you would take me to college and pick me up because I didn’t drive ! And I know I can hear you saying “Ashley you still don't drive!” Lol My mom reminded me of the time you and Vickey would take me to school and she would tell you , “ Babe don’t turn on the AC , Ashley is putting on her mascara” and you would say ok and turn it off! We both laughed ☺️ Because it was the smallest moments and memories like that,  that show what a kind and giving person you were! Even though we didn’t see each other everyday ,   Doesn’t mean that we loved each other any less. When I think of you I’m going to remember you this way as in our picture of when we were little and all of the fun memories we shared! Thank you for Always being there for me when I needed you ! Your kindness did not go unnoticed  but appreciated and grateful ! I hope you will come and visit my Charlotte since you didn’t get to meet her. I’m going to miss you  ! Cousin, I can’t believe you’re gone. Thinking back when we were kids. remembering all the fun and chaos, we all had together. Playing outside on go carts and BB guns. Laughing and playing jokes all the time. Those were the  good old days. You will truly be missed.

Edward quickly became someone I really enjoyed being around. He was Jimmy's best friend and pretty much spent more time with Jimmy then is. I would love hearing Edward joke and laugh with Jimmy on the phone. They were seriously the same person. From what they ate and watched on TV to how they relaxed and spent their free time. I know they are enjoying each other's company as angels now. He will be missed terribly by many friends and family.

Edward, as I read all these beautiful memories and view all the pictures shared, my tears are flowing and my heart is aching.  I have known you all your life and have shared many memories with you and your family.  You were always there when we needed help and you were always there for Mono.  That was the reason why you were chosen to be with him during his last days.  Thank you for being a great nephew and thank you for all your love.  You will always be remembered because we will always carry you in our hearts.  This is not Goodbye, but See You Later.  Rest in peace until we see each other again.  We love you !

I have many memories of you Chango and you are truly missed. My most fond memory of you is when we went to fiesta Texas and your feet were hurting and you needed me to rub them and you told me that I gave the best foot massages. You and your family always made me and my family feel special. I also remember the first time I met you all I was filled with love and excitement you may have been born my cousin but you felt like a little brother. I am grateful for all you and your family have done for my parents. I love you from the bottom of my heart. Till we meet again.

My Son Edward life is going to be hard with you not in it.
My memories of you are far and few.
I will always remember you working with me and telling me “Why leave now Dad we still have time to finish this wall”.

And when you spent the night at the RV after a long day of work.
And you got sick and I had to call Vickey and ask her what to do. She said call 911.
The EMS took you to the hospital 
I followed you to the hospital to Portland Tx.
You were released and the we went  back to  Rockport I pack your bags and you told me I’ll be all right I can stay . I said nope you are going home.
Vickey, Jr and Linda met me half way to pick you up around 2 in the morning. 
But I would not have it any other way.
I had those moments with you my Son.

Edward you were one of a kind but in so many ways we were the same. I loved that we could always agree on music it was our language. I remember so many times we would sit on the couch and play songs on YouTube and sing along together while we watched little man dance. You made us laugh, sing and always have a blast! You were always there for us when we call no matter what it was or the time of night. You gave us advise that we will carry and showed us what family was about. You included us in everything and we are so thankful for those memories. You were and always will be a blessed friend, brother and uncle to my little family. We love you! 

Today is your 40th birthday, and thanksgiving I’m thankful for god giving us 21 years of being soulmates, best friends and for our beautiful kids and for all the wonderful beautiful memories we made.. It hurt me and shattered my heart in a million pieces but I knew you were tired. You were always my cooking partner and turkey taste tester and I couldn’t do it  and chose not to do this year since your not physically here. My brotha, the first day we met it was love at first sight(lol)we grew up together living on the same block. The Amesquita family became my second family and i love and appreciate the love they showed to my brother and i they exepted us as there own. Trouble in and out, taking over the block playing football, basketball, hide & seek, to the Friday night parties. Til this day causing trouble and being silly it was in our nature. I've known Edward since he was born,  watched him and his siblings grow into adulthood. I remember when Vickie came into the picture and when Julissa was born. When Edward and Vickie asked me to baptize Julissa, I was going  through a rough patch (mom's  passing). I was happy they asked me to baptize Julissa,  that made my day. Edward would call me "Com-pad-re'". I can't  believe he is gone. God-Almighty. And along came Tommy! I didn't  forget you Tommy. Love you Edward,  we all do! Until we meet again! Your Com-pad-re'

We knew each other as crazy kids growing up living life on the edge, and although we went our separate paths as adults we’ve always had the same energy when meeting up.  I’m sure you kept it crazy, here on earth and now beyond.  Say what’s up to the homies for me, rest easy.  

My favorite memory is when my Tio Edward would take us to the movies when there was a new fast and furious movie and the time when he took me and my brother to see Hobbs and Shaw and he fell asleep halfway into the movie. I love you tio you’ll always be in our hearts.

Edward you will be missed. Thank you for always being so kind. You always embraced me and I truly appreciated that. We didn’t always get to hang out, but when we did you welcomed me with a big smile and open arms. It was so nice to see how extremely blessed you become by having the best partner and beautiful kids. Towards the end of our grandmothers passing you hung out with me to keep an eye on her. We had some conversations about our kids that I will never forget. You seemed like a loving, understanding father, and a joy to be around. May you now rest easy and get to see our family in heaven that also passed too soon. My deepest condolences to Vicky, Julissa, Tommy, uncle Larry, aunt Cookie, cousin Vanessa, cousin Jr., all your nephews nieces and friends. My family will love you and think of you always cuz.

First on all I would like to say, Edward was a Very Good Friend to me. I Love and Respected Him. Where do I start on a favorite memory, we had so many.! He and I would have our evening phone calls all most every night. I'm going to miss our talks. He would Greet me with What's Up Mr. Cantu. I love when he would joke with Vicky when she was putting a ear to our conversation. He would shush her an Say "Man are Talking." I don't know how I'm going to get threw this but I will be asking for God's Help. He used to say he admired me and looked up to me but I didn't get a chance to tell him that I looked up to him. He was a strong man a leader a hustler a provider. He was always striving to give his Family the best. If I ever needed anything consider it done and like to think that I did that as well. I can't even imagine how Vicky, Tom and Julissa are feeling. Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Grandma just know that I am here for you and Will Support you if you need anything. He and Y'all took my Family in yours as if we were. I Love you my Brother Chango!!!

I remember this last time we went to corpus you got drunk and here goes Edward decided to go in the water you slipped and here comes this wave and takes  you in  and there u go just floating away so here I go running to try to save you as I pull you out the water your  laughing and laughing and saying  all u wanted was to swim after Vickey was getting  mad at you and took you to the room you said well bye Vickey is taking me to the room already I’m in trouble  lol

I have memories of fun times spent with edward and family over the years, but my favorite is not one I spent with him but one my husband did. My husband (Terry) drove his bike from Louisiana to San Antonio once on a solo trip, on the spur of the moment he called and edward met up with him and hung out showing Terry a memorable time. It was a great example of what a wonderful person he was and he'll be missed. Sending his family lots of love.

From the go-cart rides as kids to the love for Tio Trumpito, I'll never forget you. I admired Edward on many levels and his loyalty and love for Vickey is beyond words. J Cole should have said ,"That Edward and Vickey love", bc that's true love. He was an amazing father down to his last breath. He's an Amesquita and those Amesquitas love and will do anything for their family. Thank you for taking care of Nana and I'm glad she got to know you. I love you, Edward. You and Vickey alway's made me feel like part of the family. you alway's  made everyone laugh and i loved watching you treat Big David like he was a brother...i can't pick just one memory cause there are so many...but they all include a smile!!
