

Edward Gonzalez, age 82, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015. He was born in San Antonio to Matias and Anita Gonzalez on March 27, 1933. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and later followed his passion for photography. After being a photographer for many years, he opened a camera store with a handful of used cameras. Within 5 years, the business had grown to include new and used cameras and after 40 years of business is still owned and operated by his family. Edward loved to travel, spend time with his grandchildren and was an avid fan of movies. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ginette Gonzalez; daughters, Veronique Garcia and husband, Rick and Angelica Gonzalez; son, Edward Gonzalez and wife, Wei; grandchildren, Nikolos Gonzalez, Colin Gonzalez and Stephanie Garcia; great-granddaughter, Kira Gonzalez.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
