Edward Carrola Lozano

Edward C. Lozano, full of heart and personality, passed away on May 15, 2025 at the age of 48. He deeply loved his family, sports, good food, and his country. He lived a carefree life and brought joy to everyone he encountered.

He was a true sports fan — loyal to the Dallas Cowboys and forever faithful to the San Antonio Spurs. Whether it was his team or not, he always cheered with passion. His humor, warmth, and big personality made him unforgettable. Eddie had the gift of making everyone feel loved and welcomed. The memories made with him will be treasured forever. He loved to joke around, be mischievous, and had a natural talent for making people laugh. With a twinkle in his eye, he brought humor into every room he entered. His playful spirit made him a joy to be around. He loved the United States with his whole heart, never missing a chance to chant “USAAA!” with passion and pride. His love for his country was as sincere as the love he gave to everyone around him.

Eddie's love of food was all encompassing. He loved cheeseburgers, pizza, chinese food, mexican food and soda. Let's face it, he loved FOOD!

He is survived by his parents, Jesus E. Lozano and Susana C. Lozano, siblings: Jesus C. Lozano (Elva), Pedro C. Lozano (Michelle), Susana L. Swigert (Michael) Maria E. Lozano, Gloria Lozano, nieces and nephews: Patrick Lozano, Lauren Watkins, Bradley Douglas, Jesus E. Lozano III, Gabriella Rose Lozano, and numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

His presence will be greatly missed, but the joy and love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A visitation for Edward will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Divine Providence Catholic Church, 5667 Old Pearsall Rd, San Antonio, TX 78242 with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
