He was born on Tuesday, July 20, 1993, to parents, Jennifer Grace Longoria and Edward Moreno, Sr., in San Antonio, Texas, where he lived a life filled with love.
Edward’s vibrant personality touched the hearts of many. He had a special gift for bringing love, laughter, joy, hope, and faith into people’s lives. His big bright smile was infectious and will always be remembered.
Eddie was so strong. He had the strength and determination to fill a Spurs Stadium. His love and passion for basketball was on another level. He loved the sport. After his injury, he still made it a point to go to as many games as he possibly could. He loved his Spurs! Even welcomed them into his own home! Eddie went on to become such an inspiration to so many others. He had the fight of a lion. He pushed and pushed till his body couldn’t fight anymore. “Bring It On” he says, “Can’t Break Steel” he says. He proved that everyday of his life. Eddie was the best uncle to Rose Grace, she absolutely adored him as he did her. Eddie loved doing what he did best, that was being there for his family; his brothers, his parents, his niece, and his godson along with so many others he encountered. Those are the moments he cherished the most in life. He gave all his love and support to each one of them. He never lost sight of what God called him to do in his very last years of life, his faith in God’s word.
