CSM Edward E. O'Boyle USA (Ret)

CSM Edward E. O'Boyle USA (Ret), age 95, was received into the arms of God on February 26th, 2025. He was a devout Catholic to whom God, Family, and Country came first. He proudly served in the United States Army for thirty plus years with his last assignment as CSM of the US Army Health Services Command. He was born in Dickson City Pennsylvania, and was the son of the late Edward Leon O'Boyle, and Loretta Murphy O'Boyle. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie and five children, Denise Crane (Gary), Sharon O'Boyle (Lesa), Sheila Henthorne, Edward O'Boyle, Jr. (Karen), and Michael P. O'Boyle; Grandchildren Laura, Kelly, Erica, Erin, Melissa, Wayne (pre-deceased), Sean, and Margaret; and Great Grandchildren Alexa, Haley, Mackenzie, Noah, Ryan, and Aurora. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 9:00 am on March 8th at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will be held at 1 PM on March 10th at Holy Cross Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

A Visitation for Edward will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at St Pius X Catholic Church 3303 Urban Crest Dr, San Antonio, TX 78209. A Rosary will be said Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, 3303 Urban Crest Dr, San Antonio, TX 78209. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3303 Urban Crest Dr, San Antonio, TX 78209. A committal service with Full Military Honors will occur Monday, March 10, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Archdiocese of San Antonio -Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266.
