Edwin “Eddie” F. Menger, age 64, went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on November 11, 1950 in San Antonio, TX to Claude C. Menger, Sr. & Helen L. Menger. Ed was fortunate to be a part of the earliest groups to complete schooling from Kindergarten thru High School in special education, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1972. Everyone will miss his unconditional love & his great smile. He can now use his wings and fly.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents.
He was survived by his sister and Life Guardian, Catherine Derocher; brother, Claude Menger Jr.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,cousins and friends. Eddie celebrated with his family as often as possible. “HE LOVED PEOPLE!”.
Visitation will begin at 8 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218 continuing with a Rosary and Prayer Service immediately following at 9 a.m.
Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
