Eleanor A. Holmes was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 7, 1938 and passed away on November 13, 2015 at the age of 77. She retired from N.E.I.S.D. as a dedicated bus driver, she loved all children Eleanor spent her last few years in New Braunfels where she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and friends and family. She enjoyed sitting on the porch, golf cart rides and good Bar-B-Q.
Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband Jerry G. Holmes, parents Charles and Luella Rogers, great granddaughter Kylye Bohuslav. Eleanor is survived by her sons, Ronald Bohuslav and wife, Judy, Michael Holmes and wife, Lori and David Holmes, sister, Margaret Herzig, brother, Charles Rogers and wife, Linda, sister-in-law, Lynn Briggs and husband, John, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with the Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Funeral Services will take place at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel Friday, November 20, 2015 at 12:00pm with entombment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
