

Elenora Dugosh Goodley passed away in Helotes, Texas on Monday April 13, 2020 at the age of 83. Known to her friends as "Casey." She was born in Bandera, Texas on February 13, 1937 to Hubert Dugosh and Catherine Laskowski.
Elenora is survived by her 3 loving daughters, Lori A. Pierce, Joan A. Malarchuk, and Bonnie J. Goodley-Biasiolli; 9 grandchildren, Sarah, Kimberley, Jennifer, and Michael Pierce, Samantha and Colby Biasiolli, and Kelly, Jed and Dallyn Malarchuk; 3 brothers, Roy, Richard, Danny; and 6 sisters, Elizabeth, Albina, Josephine, Lucille, Mary and Genevieve; along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her dear husband; her parents, and siblings, Ignatius, Rosalie, and Conrad.
Elenora Dugosh became an Airline Stewardess for Continental after graduating High school and was also named Miss Continental. She retired when she married Col. John. R. Goodley on June 7, 1961.
Elenora Dugosh Goodley was amongst the first Descendants of the original immigrants that established St. Stanislaus Catholic Parish in Bandera, Texas. She also made it official that Bandera, Texas become "The Cowboy Capital of the World."
Elenora Goodley was a founding member of the current Polish American Council of Texas (PACT), the first Poland/USA International Ambassador for the city and county of Bandera, a member of the Father Leopold Moczygemba Foundation, Founder of the Bandera County Sister Partnership with Strzelce Opolskie, Poland and Co-chair of the Bandera County Historical Commission.

Mrs. Goodley was interred with her husband at the Air Force Academy Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Friday, June 19, 2020.
