Elfrieda Louise Wiley

The daughter of Elfrieda Voges Classen and Frederick Voges, she was a graduate of Alamo Heights High School and attended Trinity University.

Mrs. Wiley worked for the civil service at Hondo Air Force Base and Randolph Air Force Base. On March 4, 1950, she married Cameron P. Wiley at Randolph Air Force Base. She ranched for many years and enjoyed being the wife of an Air Force officer during her husband's military career.

She and her husband were charter members of the Bulverde Area Humane Society.

Mrs. Wiley was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Cameron P. Wiley; daughter, Kathleen Louise Wiley; and her parents, Frederick Voges and Elfrieda Voges Classen.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia K. Wiley Brougher, M.D. and husband John R. Brougher, III; and granddaughters, Caitlin E. Brougher and Shannon C. Brougher.

Pallbearers will be Lupe Moreno, Bob Johnson, James Klar, Thom Watson, John Watson, and Dana Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be E. R. Watson, Juan Moreno, Harvey Fehrenkamp, Hermann Vogel, Danny Scheel, and Tito Muñoz.

The family would like to thank caretakers Batheia Ebony Scales and Batheia Holly Scales, Sandy Loker, and Julia Hernandez, of Vitas Hospice.
