Elida J. Briones was a loving, caring, and giving soul. She was the person who would put others first and not expect anything in return. She loved her family with all her heart. She would always go above and beyond for her family. She was that mom and grandmother who baked cupcakes or cakes for our birthday to take to our classroom. She was the wife that would cook up dish for dads’ potluck at work. She was the mom, the grandmother and the wife who would take less so her family could have more. She worked at Sky Harbor Elementary School; she was part of the cafeteria staff. She also worked at Bill Millers Bar-B-Q. She enjoyed reading and collecting Danielle Steel books. She was a huge fan of the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. She would always cheer for her teams win or lose. She also loved her dogs, her birds and ever her ducks. The last fur baby she loved with all heart was her Tara. She had many interests she enjoyed doing. She was the photographer in our family and loved taking photos capturing all the beautiful memories. She enjoyed spending time with her plants, flowers and ever working out on the yard. When it came time for decorating, no matter the season or even just because she had a very creative gift that could transform something simple into something amazing. However, her passion that she could set down for hours at a time was to crochet. She would create the most beautiful blankets or making her potholders. She volunteered at the community church. She impacted so many with her kindness and generosity. No matter what she was doing or working on she always believed it had to be done the correct way and never take any shortcuts. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
