Elijah Christian Woods

Elijah Christian Woods went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2025. Elijah was born in Austin, Texas, to Stacey and Mark Woods. He grew up in San Antonio and spent much of his life at the family ranch near Fredericksburg. During the pandemic, he lived and studied there. He attended the Hotchkiss School and graduated from Saint Mary’s Hall. He further attended Trinity University, where he served on the Student Senate and was a member of the Investment Club. He graduated from Trinity with a BS in Accounting and an MS in Accounting.

He was an avid adventurer, having spent much time hiking around Telluride, Colorado, and as far away as Slovenia. His travels took him to many countries in Europe, as well as New Zealand and Argentina.

He truly was a Renaissance man, as he could spend the day hunting birds and wild game, cook a delicious dinner, discuss world events, and then entertain after with many guitar renditions. He was an accomplished scholar, sportsman, and musician.

Elijah is preceded in death by his grandmother, Tiggy (Glenda Woods), and grandfather, George W. Moyer.

Elijah is survived by his parents, Stacey and Mark, sister Olivia, grandfather Gary Woods, and many other family members and friends.

To know Elijah was to love Elijah. There truly are not enough words to properly articulate how special he was. He was a great son, grandson, and brother, but most importantly, a great friend. He was the light of our lives and is now with God.
