Elisa H. Alvarado, age 81, of San Antonio, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2007 in a local hospital. She was always known as "Mami" to everyone that knew her. She was a Eucharistic Minister for many years and a devoted member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Cruz F. Alvarado.
Survivors include: two daughters, Yolanda H. Alvarado and Estella Alvarado Jesus; three sons: Ruben Virginia, Hector Judith, and Mario Linda; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the love and compassion shown to their mother by the M.I.C.U. nursing staff at Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, October 18th and Friday, October 19th from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
