Elizabeth Peters Kienbaum

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Peters Kienbaum on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on December 31, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Elizabeth was the daughter of Marvin and Elizabeth Peters.

She graduated from Edison High School in 1964. Elizabeth was an active member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America Court #89, and the Order of the Eastern Star Alamo Heights Chapter #0734.

Elizabeth enjoyed riding with the Hill Country Gypsy Motorcycle Club, where she was known by her road name, Susie. She also worked for Northside Independent School District as an assistant on a special needs bus, where she brought compassion and care to many young lives.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-nine years, David Kienbaum; her sister, Cheryl Odom and husband, Andy Odom; several nieces and nephews; and one grandniece.

Elizabeth’s kindness, dedication, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m.to 11:00 a.m., on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Avenue, San Antonio, Texas, with a Funeral Service to follow at time 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Road, San Antonio, Texas.
