Elva C. Rodriguez

She enjoyed watching novelas and her favorite teams play, the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. She loved going on casino trips. She was a devoted Catholic, always making time for prayer. She enjoyed cooking and having barbeques, most of all she loved spending time with her family and beloved dogs; Toots and Gemma.

She is preceded by her husband, Timoteo D. Rodriguez and her parents, Jose Esquivel and Trinidad Carrizales.

She is survived by her children, Elvia Rodriguez, Jesse Rodriguez (Julie), Timothy Rodriguez and Monica R. Saenz (Randy); grandchildren, Christopher Rodriguez, Patrick Saenz, Samantha Saenz (Christian Gomez); sisters, Irma Flores and Josie; brothers, Rudy and Rick as well as numerous family and friends. Elva will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

There will be a Visitation held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. On Thursday, August 1, 2024 we will go in procession for a 10:00 am Mass at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78226, followed by burial at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78226.
