Emilio Setien Ruiz passed away in his home on April 2nd, 2019. He is mourned by his wife Pauline; children, Claudia (Randy) Morrison, Beth (Jason) Farias, Sarah (Brian) Sosa, Hannah (Robert) Inglis and Seth Ruiz; grandchildren, Jonah, Zander, Caleb, Jaelyn, Braylee, and Hadlee; siblings,Sylvia, Leticia, Cynthia, Alma, and Miguel; and other treasured cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Emilio was born in San Antonio, TX on September 15, 1946 to his proud parents, Emilio and Minerva Ruiz. He was a graduate of Brackenridge HS (class of 1964) and an honorable servant in the US Army. He was a devoted and loving husband of 44 years to his wife Pauline(Bonenberger) and remarkable father to his 5 children. He was an enterprising businessman and retired as an owner of a demolition/contracting company. He was faithful member of his church, Jubilee Outreach and dedicated leader of the missions department.
He loved the Lord, loved people, and was fervent about sharing the Gospel of Christ. This passion led him to minister to the nations of Taiwan, Peru, Guatemala, the Philippines, China, Honduras, and his beloved Mexico. His personal relationship with God and the revelation of Him as his Provider and Healer, inspired a legacy of great faith and generosity for us to remember our beloved Emilio.
Visitation will be Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road 78238 on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a memorial service at 7:00 P.M. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Road, 78239
