Emma Lou Parnell

Emma Lou Parnell, age 93, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 22, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 31, 1924. Emma Lou worked with Eastern Star for many years which she greatly enjoyed. She was a loving mother, step-mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and great great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Emma Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Olga Kruegar; her husband, J.B. Parnell; 4 brothers; her son, Tommy Hanson; and her step-son, Larry Parnell. She is survived by her grandson, Trevor Hanson and his wife, Kay; step-son, Kenny; four grandchildren, six step great-grandchildren; and one step great great-granddaughter. The family is grateful to the staff at Brookdale Oakwell Farms for their caring, concern, and attention.

A Graveside service will Tuesday, October 30th at 12:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park.
