Emma Beatrice "Bea" Jenne Simpson, 93, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011, in San Antonio. Bea was born in Memphis, TN on December 13, 1917, to Joseph and Elizabeth Jenne. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Simpson and Norm Dunn. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Etheridge; a son, Larry Herbert; and a grandchild, Sherri Martin. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Shirley Herbert; 5 grandchildren, Mike Etheridge and wife Claire of Martin, TN, Lynn Etheridge Hare of Birmingham, AL, Cindy Smith and husband Aaron of Goshen, KY, Cathy Furbish and husband Bill of Atlanta, GA, and JoAnn Foust of Savannah, GA; a step-son, Jimmy Simpson and wife Frances; 2 step-grandchildren, Debbie Simpson of Mobile Alabama, and Robbie Simpson and wife Kim of Spanish Fort, Alabama; and 13 great-grandchildren. In accordance with Bea's wishes only a private family memorial service will be held.
