Born on June 11, 1915 to the late Anastacio and Maria Peña Martinez in Arramberri, N. L., Mexico, Mrs. Volk was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and served for many years as church pianist. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Nina's dear husband of 51 years, D.G. Volk, preceded her in death on April 20, 1998.
She is survived by her children, Charles M. Volk and his wife, Marlene; D. G. Volk, Jr. and his wife, Laura; William S. Volk and his wife, Isabel; her beloved sister, Hermila Martinez; grandchildren, Douglas Volk, Daniel Volk, Shara Volk, and William Volk, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Eddie Volk and Vincent Volk.
