Enrique Tellez Alvarado

Enrique Tellez Alvarado born in San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2026, at the age of 79. Enrique passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and simple joys that touched everyone who knew him. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with his family and friends, sharing laughter, stories, and moments that will be cherished forever.

Enrique had a deep appreciation for life’s quiet pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, often finding peace and reflection by the water, and took pride in gardening, nurturing both plants and the sense of calm it brought him. Music was always close to his heart, especially the oldies he loved, which often filled his home with familiar melodies and fond memories.

He was also a devoted pet lover, finding companionship and comfort in the animals he cared for so dearly. In his daily routine, Enrique kept himself connected to the world by watching both local and national news, staying informed and engaged with the community around him. Above all, Enrique will be remembered for his kind spirit, steady presence, and the love he shared so freely.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ignacio Alvarado & Juanita Tellez Alvarado, sisters Elisa Alvarado Muniz, Esther Alvarado and Rosita Glass and grandson Henry "Baby Henry" Casas Jr.

He is survived by his wife Maria S. Alvarado, Sons Michael, Mark, Enrique Jr, Carlos (Betty) and Ignacio; daughters Big Michelle, Maria (Teodoro Jr.), Michelle (Pete), and Jennifer (Henry); Grandchildren Mikey, Shadie, Alexandria, Sabrina, Brenda, Julian (Baylie), Veronica, Teodoro III (Audrey), Angelina, Xavier, Angie, Adriel, Isaiah, Ariel, Yanelie, and Ruby; Great Grandchildren Mateo, Marisol, Araceli, Malani, Elisa, and Violet; Close family & friends Richard, Sylvia, Mike, Milton, Willie, Hollywood; and many other extended family members and lifelong friends.
