Enrique Islas Rios

Enrique Islas Rios went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2013, at the age of 61. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 5, 1952. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lina Islas Rios and niece Patricia A. Torres. He is survived by his daughter Regina Rios, son Paul Henry Rios, father Tiburcio Rios, brothers; Frank, Raymond (Cindy Flores), Gilbert (Margie) Rios. His sisters Elvira (Arturo)Delgado, Linda Torres, Elvira Ybarra(Juan Rangel), Alicia Medina, Mary Ann Rutten, Virginia Rios, Lina Rueda, Irene (Matthew) Morgan, Rose Mary Rios (James Carroll), Leticia (John) Favela, numerous nieces and nephews. Henry resided in Stonewall, Texas, where he worked at the Fulton Ranch. He thought of them as family. Evening and weekends he dedicated his time in the field of Ministry at Stonewall Baptist Church, where he often gave sermons and conducted bible studies. His inspiration of the word and his life experiences moved many hearts to accept Jesus Christ Our Lord. His closing prayers will be missed there but his spirit will live on in their hearts and ours. Henry was loved by many, his family, his friends but most by the person who he referred to as his princess, his daughter Regina. He made life easier and will be greatly missed. Visitation will begin Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 5 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road with a sermon to follow at 7 p.m. A chapel service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013. Afterwards, Funeral procession will depart to San Fernando Cemetery II
