Alma was born February 21, 1955 in Toluca, Mex. From a young age, Alma's young and adventurous spirit was evident. She questioned conventional wisdom and set out to be an explorer of life. Those who knew Alma know she wasn't just a life bystander, she was an active participant. At a young age, she left Toluca and moved to Cd. Juarez, Mex. where both of her children were born. After moving to the United States in 1990, she lived in El Paso, TX for 10 years and spent 14 or her last 15 years in Orlando, FL before moving to San Antonio, TX at the end of 2014.
She dedicated her life to her children, making incredible sacrifices to ensure their happiness. She was loved by everyone that met her. Her children's friends all called her "Tia", and she was indeed a tia and sometimes a mother to many. She was a great listener, always had words of wisdom for those in need, and was the best shoulder to cry on. She adored her grandchildren, and they adored her in return.
Her life should be remembered as a celebration of life itself and everything that is good, positive, loving, courageous, loyal, and worth celebrating. Mom, we love you and always will . you will be greatly missed in this world!!
