

Erbey M. Rendon age 72 of San Antonio, TX died on September 21, 2012 with his family & friends beside him. He was born in San Antonio, TX to Abel Rendon and Victoria Martinez.
Erbey proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and later became a union representative for UFCW for over 20 years fighting for the rights, wages, & working conditions of employees, particularly a fighter for women's rights.
He also worked for Attorney Frank Herrera for 12 plus years as a negotiator.
Erbey is preceded in death by parents; brother, Manuel Rendon; sister, Maria Ramos; and the mother of his children Victoria Rendon.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hortense (Vera) Rendon; son, Erbey Rendon, Jr. (Martha); son, Michael A. Rendon (Nelida); daughter, Denise A. Rendon; grandchildren, Priscilla, Erbey III, Easias, Nellie; great-grandchild, Joseph, Jr.; sisters, Susie Aguirre, Minerva Ojeda (Richard), Audelia Coddington, Ramona Hernandez (Jose), brother, Tom Fajardo (Elvira); brother-in-law, Victor Ramos.
Family would like to thank the San Antonio Kidney Disease Center and all the doctors, nurses and staff especially Dr. Susan Diamond, the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital, the Dr's and Nurses at the Methodist Hospital ICU and Heart to Heart Hospice for their comforting care.
Visitation will be on September 27, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
