Eric lived in San Antonio, and blessed all whom he met with his sweet disposition and unconditional love until he joined his Mother in an everlasting journey with the Lord on March 23, 2012.
Though fighting the diseases that assailed him, Eric is now fully healed in mind, body and soul. As the third son of a family of five boys, Eric fit right in with his four brothers, and never missed the daily sport or fracas that was common in the household.
He attended Alamo Heights High School. He worked for years with Clarke Printing Company, while living at home with his Mother, his loving companion for decades. She will surely rejoice welcoming Eric back home now that they are together again. Eric's innocence and humility are a lasting remembrance to his family and friends. Never known to say a foul word, or exhibit anything but kindness to all he met, Eric will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Hill, his step-mother Frances Hill and is survived by his loving father, Roger Hill, Sr., his brother Roger Hill Jr. and wife, Jan, his brother Russell Hill, and wife, Cari, his brother Chris Hill, and partner Rodolfo Choperena, brother Bruce Hill, and wife, Ellen, half-sister Stacey Hill and her husband, Erick Schlather, step-sister Renee Ojeda, step-brother John Hill, and wife, Caroline and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend grateful thanks to the Elsa Salinas who helped care for Eric the past few months.
