Eric "Cire" Rodriguez

Eric Rodriguez, age 41, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2025. A devoted father, compassionate friend, and man of unwavering faith, Eric lived his life with purpose, love, and a heart full of generosity. Eric found his greatest joy in spending time with his children. He cherished every moment with them and took pride in being a guiding light in their lives. His deep faith in God shaped who he was—he loved spreading the Word and lived each day striving to help others in need, no matter the circumstance.

He was also a talented musician who made his own music, using his creativity as another way to connect with others and express his beliefs and experiences. His work in the tree service industry reflected his strong work ethic, dedication, and connection to nature. Eric’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His kindness, faith, and love for his family will never be forgotten.

Eric is preceded in death by his brother, Ruben Garcia and niece Jocelyn Rios.

He is survived by his children, Christian Rodriguez, Janelle Rodriguez, Kira Rodriguez, Eric Sebastian Rodriguez, Miranda Rodriguez, parents, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, siblings, Lulu Rodriguez, Ida Rodriguez, Joey Rodriguez, Natalie Rodriguez, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Eric will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
