Erin Heather Dooley also known by her friends as “Doolzz,” age 45, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 in San Antonio, TX. She was born February 25, 1975 to Katherine Lynn Redepenning and Sean W. Dooley in San Antonio, TX. Erin fought a courageous battle against the damaging effects of Lupus for 31 years, and all the collateral side effects and ailments generated by this invisible disease.
Erin grew up in a home of music and continued dancing and singing in her home. Erin loved animals, having volunteered at the Universal City Animal shelter in her younger years and she always maintained a family of cats.
Erin was an avid gardener, who loved to be outside in the yard, following her mother and grandfather, even with her physical limitations.
She was direct in her spiritual guidance to her friends, family and those who came seeking help. Erin was a light, ignoring her own sufferings and pain to administer love, care and support to the depressed, the marginalized, and lost; who witnessed to her strength of faith. They became friends and it seemed disciples, as they always asked for her guidance and approval; hence her other nickname; Sugar-free. No sugar coating. Erin graduated from Judson High School in 1993. She was a homemaker taking care of home operations and Michael’s right hand in their businesses.
Erin is preceded in death by her mother, Kathi Dooley; her uncle, Charles Redepenning; her aunt, Roxanne Barnett; and brother-in-law, Paul Casiano. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Michael Casiano; daughter, Trinity Casiano; brother, Ian Patrick Dooley (Krisna); father, Deacon Sean W. Dooley; several nieces, nephews and a lifetime of friends.
