Ernest A. Hackett, 84, passed away on February 6, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. Ernest was born on March 31, 1932 in Corning, New York to Andrew and Viola Hackett. He is preceded in death by Josephine Hackett, his wife of 32 years and his parents. Ernest is survived by his children; Edward M. Hackett, Cynthia M. Wurth, Paul A. King (wife, JoAnne), Kelly A. King, Theresa M. Richardson (husband, Terry), Patricia L. Escamilla (husband, Edward), and Andrew N. Hackett (wife, Jackie); 17 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Ernest Hackett will be on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 6-9pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio. A chapel service will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 9:00am, interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. .
