

Reared in McAllen, Texas and moved to San Antonio in 1946 to study nursing at Santa Rosa Hospital School of Nursing.
During her training she met the love of her life, Elmer. She graduated May 1949, they married August 2, 1949 in McAllen, Texas.
Eileen was very active in her children's schools and parish St. Matthew Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Matthew #2241 and the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Ernestine Savage of McAllen, TX, and sister, Margaret Savage Wood.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Elmer, and devoted children: Tom Crumrine and wife Patsy, Beth Taubert and husband Terry, David Crumrine and wife Rose Ann, Patty Thompson and husband Howard, Don Crumrine and wife Monica, Jeanette Zinsmeister and husband Mark, Karen Dietrich, Michael Crumrine and partner Lee. Her much loved grandchildren include: Carolyn Hart and husband Mike, Barbara Carter and husband Rockey, Bobby Crumrine and wife Christina, Rebecca Taubert, Annie Freeman and husband Benton, Terrence Taubert, Jr., Chris Taubert, Kevin Crumrine, Lauren Chase and husband Jeff, Katy Kunze and husband Dustin, Zachary Thompson, Crystal Crumrine, DJ Crumrine, Jr., Stephanie Crumrine, Michael Zinsmeister and wife Stacey, Jessica Creswell and husband Bryan, Matthew Zinsmeister, Mason Zinsmeister, Chuck Dietrich, Amy Dietrich, and Athena Crumrine. Her 15 beautiful great-grandchildren: Lexie, Zachary Hart; Ethan, Larick, Trent, Aiden, Roland, Fiona, Lily Carter; Isabella, Sophia Castillo; Campbell, Caitlin Chase; Blake Zinsmeister and Jack Creswell. Other survivors include sister, Janet Mitchell and husband Dick, Rita Marino and husband Tom, Robert Savage and wife Delores, Lawrence Savage and wife Caroline, John Savage and wife Carol, Ann Zellars and husband Bob, Richard Savage and Tim Savage numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family wishes to thank her doctor's, especially Dr. Steven P. Kalter, her team from Amedisys Hospice Services, and special heartfelt thanks to her wonderful caregiver, Rosie Villarreal.
