Esperanza Telles Garza

Esperanza T. Garza, born on August 20, 1941 went to be with our Lord on April 3, 2022 at the age of 80. Mrs. Garza was a waitress for many years at many local restaurants in including, Mexican Manhattan. She was a loving mother and had a passion for cooking, playing bingo, dancing, and making people laugh. She was always one to speak her mind, lend a helping hand, and known for always having a big and forgiving heart.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Oscar G. Garza; parents, Romulo Garza and Margarita Telles Garza; siblings, Ernesto Garza, Mary Mendoza, and Consuelo Barron.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Ann Oropeza (Matthew), Margie Garza (Ray); grandchildren, Sabrina Garza, Esperanza C. Garza, Desirae Ryon, Rene Lopez Jr, Mark Lopez, Zoryanna J. Oropeza; great grandchildren, Aliea Garza, Fae Garza, Xerxes Garza, Jedi R. Garza; siblings, Armando Garza, Angie Coleman and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She will be truly missed by family and friends.

The Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. Funeral procession will be departing Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 9:20AM to arrive at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church on 1214 Stonewall St. 78211 for a 10:00AM mass. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park Cemetery.
