He is preceded in death by his daughter, JoAnn M. Gonzalez and is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Juanita M. Gonzalez; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Mitchell and husband, Larry; grandchildren: Jason D. Sanchez, Sunnie Rae Zentner, Jr. and husband, John; Elizabeth Ann Arispe, Kristin Amanda Gonzalez and Jane-Marie Gonzalez; great-grandchildren: Jakob Rodriguez, John Zentner III and JolieAnn Arispe; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 15th beginning at 6:00 P.M. at the Porter Loring on McCullough with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 P.M. in the Chapel.
On Tuesday, October 16th, a procession will depart Porter Loring Chapel at 1:30 P.M. for a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
