Estella Meadows

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Estella Guajardo Meadows, age 63 on Saturday, May 27, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was Born on July 13,1959 in San Antonio,Texas to Connie Martinez & Pablo Guajardo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Connie Martinez and Pablo Guajardo; and sister, Connie Guajardo.

Estella is survived by her loving husband, David R. Ruiz; children: Audrey Rose Guajardo Morales (James Morales), Erica Ruiz, and Erick Ruiz; grandchildren: Amber Rose Morales, Ruben David Villanueva, Alaina Rose Villanueva, Rudy “Eli” Cortez, Omar Ortiz , Aiden Ortiz; siblings: Pablo Guajardo, Olga Camacho (Eddie), Frank Guajardo, Mario Guajardo, Danny Guajardo, Ruben Martinez, Michael Martinez, and Gina DeHoyas (Mike).

Estella was a loving mother of three and a loving grandmother of six. She devoted her time to ensure her children had the essentials growing up. She worked several jobs in her lifetime including, managing at the local KWIK-N-NEAT dry cleaners and cashiering at GOODWILL. She was a wonderful, kind, & funny woman with a heart of Gold. She’d always remember her children & grandchildren’s birthdays & made it a point to check up on everyone. Even during times of hardship she would manage to surprise you with a gift of some sorts. She was always thinking of others and made it a point to see the good in everyone. She was easy to prank & would just laugh after the matter. She always said unexpected things to us and we’d laugh so hard and say “mom your crazy”! She loved watching reruns of Golden Girls along with many sitcoms. Estella Loved anything froggies as she would say. She always gave positive & kind words of encouragement in happy or sad times. She was a faithful believer in the Lord Almighty. She often visited multiple churches and always had a positive outlook on life and would share her thoughts as she reflected on life’s circumstances.

She will be dearly remembered by all who knew her for she left behind: that of unconditional love, genuine kindness, deep loyalty, faithfulness and excellent work ethic; traits that will continue to be passed down from generation to generation through her family members who survive her. May she rest in peace forevermore in the arms of our Lord God Almighty.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Friday, June 9, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
