Ethel Jacqueline Gutzke, age 84, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. Ethel was born on March 12, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Henry J. Mills and Florence Kittleson Mills.
She met her loving husband of 60 years, William “Bill” Gutzke, at her first job in Minneapolis. They both decided to leave the snow behind and move to Texas to raise their family. Their home was where everyone loved to gather for holidays, birthdays, and any special event. Their marriage was full of love, companionship, and commitment to eachother. Jackie cherished her time with her family and made every moment memoriable. In her free time she enjoyed quilting, puzzles, reading and baking. Everyone loved her pumpkin bread, spice cake, Christmas cookies, and orange fluff. Jackie’s kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will never be forgotten.
Jackie, or Gigi as her loved ones called her, is preceded in death by her husband Bill and her son in law Bruce. She is survived by her two daughters, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Her memorial service will be held:
