A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Eugene shared 55 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Laura Guerra. He was a wise, funny, and no-nonsense patriarch—a steady hand who led with quiet strength, patience, and consistency. A lifelong working man, he offered wisdom without sermons and was the backbone of his family.
He is reunited in Heaven with his beloved son, Eugene Eloy Guerra II (Gino), his parents, Elojio G. Guerra and Lucy Guerra; and his siblings, Eddie, Richard, Angie, and Carmen.
He leaves behind a loving legacy through his daughters, Denise Rodriguez (Ismael), Yvonne Galindo (Errol), and Pamela Guerra; eight grandchildren: Gino (Jessica), Maurice, Lena, Nikki, Kaurena, Giovanni (Danelle), Sofia, and Selena; and five great-grandchildren: Joshua, Messiah, Ryann, Mason, and Kyree.
Eugene found joy in fishing, yard work, carpentry, cooking, and barbecuing. He loved cheering on his grandchildren at their sports events, and spending time with family on camping trips. Known for his generous heart, he mentored others and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
