My mom and I are so sorry for your loss, Helen! Gene was a sweet man and fixture on our end of the street. I will always remember the chats we had when I would catch him out walking Molly and after Molly passed away, his new dog Buddy. Gene was the neighborhood greeter and always made newcomers feel welcome on the block. He will be missed! God bless you and your family, Helen.

Remember u and J.C. coming by after school. Sitting in porch swing. Eating my special snacks of peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. Miss Cheyenne!!and those peaceful quiet days. Thankful for so many memories. Snow freezing my legs to red on walks to school. Sick hops. Dances. Frontier Days downtown, parades, free pancake breakfasts. Need that again in this insane world. Happy you made a difference to many. Rest in His arms. Memory Eternal.

Precious memories. Sixty two years were not enough. You were my biggest supporter, my rock, my love and my life. I will miss you beyond belief. People say l am strong they didn't realize that you were my strength. There are dollar stores that you haven't been to and flea markets you may have missed, but you tried. Time was much too short

My Dad was a gentle soul. He did not prescribe to any organized religion, yet he did strive to be a good person. He was kind, generous, humble and helpful to everyone he met. I think my Dad was the epitome of a humane person.

I remember his warmth and the endless, contagious, love he had for his family, especially his granddaughters. I remember him supporting the ones he loved and I know he felt the unconditional love from his family and will always be with you all and you will feel his presence for he has never left you.
Much love family ❤️
