Eugene “Mickey” Noriega, III, age 55, passed away on June 14, 2019. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 16, 1963. He was the first born of four siblings and was known as “Mickey” to his family and “Gino” to his friends. As a child his favorite toys to play with were G.I. Joe’s and as a teenager he taught himself how to play the drums. Some of his favorite bands he would enjoy playing the drums to were Chicago, Bad Company, Doobie Brothers and Rush. As an adult he developed into an epicurean of music and became passionate about sharing his love for music and for those who knew him couldn’t help but to be moved and touched by it. You will live on forever in our memories, in our hearts and in the music that we cherished together. Here’s to you beloved son, brother, and uncle, you will be greatly missed.
Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Eugene M. Noriega, III and his wife, Donna R. Noriega. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Noriega; his siblings, Edward Noriega and his wife, Peggy, Erica Noriega, and Steven Noriega and his wife, Cynthia; and his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Felicia, Natalie, Analisa, Jakob, and Ethan; and his beloved “fur-baby”, MoMo.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 21st from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, June 22nd at 2:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
