Eugenia Peck

Born in Uniontown, Alabama and beloved three-time widow, Jeanie Peck lived at the Air Force Villages for more than 24 years. Jeanie was a 'giver', dedicated to her family, and loved to garden, dance, and sing. She was a medical secretary for 20 years in the Memphis medical center area. Jeanie was involved in church choirs from age 23 and the Protestant Church Choir at Village II as well as the Villages Voices for 15 years. She was President of Women's Missionary Union in Memphis, Tennessee for 2 years and served in many Ministries throughout the years. Jeanie was involved in many village activities including Red Hatters, 9 Holers, OSC, and others. She was a regular hostess and docent for the AFV annual meeting.

Jeanie is survived by 2 children and their families: one son, Jere P. Cunningham, Jr. and wife, Velvalea; one daughter, Dorothy Smith and husband, Rev. Dan Smith. Jeanie had 4 grandchildren: Hart and Elaine; and Meredith and John David respectively; and one great grandson, Ethan, son of Meredith and Eric Hendee. She is also survived by one sister, Frances Dyer of San Antonio and one brother, John "Sonny" Meredith of Guntersville, Alabama.
