Eula Mae Lanford

Eula Mae Lanford, nee Hanson, 98, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Regent Care Nursing Facility. The visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. Eula Mae Lanford was born in Bandera County, Vanderpool, Texas. She was the daughter of James and Minnie Mae Hanson and was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Charles (Pete) Hanson and Fred Hanson and two sisters, Catherine Lanford and Ruby Matthews. On February 22nd, 1931 she married Nathan L. Lanford in San Antonio, Texas and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2002. Her oldest daughter, Nancy Rogers preceded her in death on September 15, 2005 and her son, Nathan Gary Lanford, preceded her in death on February 21, 2008. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Theis and husband Bob Theis and seven grandchildren; Byron and Jeff Rogers, Steve, Tom and David Lanford and Rocky Lawrence and Myles Theis; great grandchildren, Jessica Chamberlain, Jake Rogers, Rachell and Lance Rogers, Liana, Carissa, Olivia and Joe Nathan Lanford; great grandchildren, Makayla and Andrew Chamberlain. Pallbearers are; Steve, David and Tom Lanford, Jeff and Jake Rogers and Myles Theis. Honorary pallbearers will be Byron Rogers, Rocky Lawrence and Michael Chamberlain.
