Eulalio Palacios Menchaca, born on December 14, 1949 in Poteet, TX was called to be with the Lord on July 12, 2016 at the age of 66. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB after 33 years of Civil Service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Santana and Ida Mae Menchaca; brothers, Roger, Luis and Paul Menchaca. He is survived by his son, Mark Anthony Menchaca; close companion, Jeanette Leal; brothers, Gilbert Menchaca (Nanda), John Albert Menchaca and Anthony Menchaca (Dolores); sisters, Rosemary P. Menchaca, Anita M. Burns (Michael) and Grace Menchaca (Armando); also, numerous nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm. To 9:00 pm. Friday, July 15, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 274 Avenue H, Poteet, TX 78065. Interment will follow in Vanness Cemetery, Poteet, TX.
