

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Eulalio "Lalo" S. Reyna, called by the Lord April 3, 2025. He was born February 12, 1927, in Seguin, Texas, reaching the remarkable age of 98. Born to Maximo and Hermengilda Reyna, Lalo was one of fifteen children. He was preceded in death by his parents and twelve siblings: Joaquin, Victoriano, Jose, Linda, Nicholas, Pedro, Pablo, Maria Isabel, Reyes, Maria Guadalupe, Domingo, and Maria. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aurora Reyna, with whom he shared many beautiful years of love and devotion.
Eulalio leaves behind an imprint of love, strength and infinite wisdom on the hearts of those he knew. He is survived by his cherished siblings, Augustin Reyna (Hilda) and Janie Adame (Sal); his loving daughters, Rosie Ramirez (Ben) and Nora Barrera (Peter); two beautiful granddaughters, Yliana Luz Barrera and Janell Perez (Enrico); and two adored great-grandchildren, Julius and Genevieve Perez. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom he treasured dearly.
Eulalio dutifully served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II and was awarded the WWIl Victory Medal within the American Theater of Operations. Eulalio had a passion for life he was an exceptional dancer and singer, performing in multiple competitions throughout his youth. Fondly, he sang and played guitar professionally, in multiple Latin orchestras as a secondary occupation, for many years. He was deeply grateful and humbled by his many material possessions; always showing great care and respect for his home, yard, vehicles and elegant clothing. Known for his impeccable style; he carried himself with grace and pride, leaving a lasting impression wherever he went as a "sharply dressed man". Eulalio was truly one-of-a-kind and entirely irreplaceable. He was gracious with his talents, time and resources. Those who knew him loved to be around him, as he brought joy and bright energy to any space he entered. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle who was very involved with the wellbeing of those close to him. His faith in "Cristo Rey" guided his life. It is not enough to say that he will be deeply missed and forever cherished. He made this world a more beautiful place.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Funeraria del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, with a Rosary recite at 7:00 pm. Procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 for 10:00 am Mass to be celebrated at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 1730 Dahlgreen Ave., San Antonio, TX 78237. Entombment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
